I am a resident of the State of Missouri, or have appointed some resident of Clay County act as my agent, and I consent to service of process on such agent, thereby giving such court jurisdiction to try and determine any suit growing out of or connected with this sale of tax liens.
If I make the highest bid on a property, I will submit payment by 5:00pm on the third business day after the bid is awarded by certified funds to Clay County Collector. I understand that failure to pay may result in the property being awarded to the next highest bidder.
I understand that I will be required to pay the subsequent taxes that have become due on this property after the annual tax sale, in addition to the bid amount plus $27.00 to cover the cost of recording the deed.
I understand that the Collector’s office follows RSMO 140. I am responsible for understanding the contents of this law. The Collector’s office cannot interpret the statutes for me.
I am currently not delinquent on any tax payments on any property, whether real or personal, including but not limited to properties on which title is held in my name individually or jointly.
I am not a member of any corporate entity (including LLCs) or partnership, nor do I have any position in which I share in the profits and losses of any corporate entity or partnership, that is delinquent on any tax payments on any property, whether real or personal.
If I have appointed an Agent, pursuant to paragraph 4 above, my designated agent also meets all of the requirements of paragraphs 5 and 6 above.
I, or my appointed Agent, am bidding on my own behalf, to personally (or in the name of the bidder stated above) own, possess, and profit from the properties I seek to purchase. I am not acting on behalf of any person or entity that is delinquent on any tax payments on any property, whether real or personal, nor am I acting on behalf of any person that has been disqualified from participation in the Clay County tax sale for any reason.
